City of Olympia No Parking Ordinance

The City of Olympia controls the “NO PARKING” signs throughout Evergreen Pointe and enforces compliance. Failure to abide by the posted signs is subject to a municipal fine as indicated below. Additionally, Article 7.5 of the HOA CC&Rs requires each homeowner to observe the parking ordinance.

If you live in a cul-de-sac, you will see the large “No Parking in Cul-de-Sac” sign.
 
Tip: A simple rule to avoid a city parking citation is: Do not park on the side that that is used to set up waste resources pick-up and do not park in any cul-de-sac.
 
Adherence to the city’s no parking ordinance applies 24/7.

The city enforces a fine of $75.00 for each violation.
 
Penalties for Violation. Vehicles found in violation of this section, except subsection A14 of this section, shall incur an infraction of seventy-five and no/100 dollars ($75.00). A second infraction, without the vehicle being moved, shall constitute a second restricted parking fine of seventy-five and no/100 dollars ($75.00), and a third infraction, without the vehicle being moved, shall constitute a third restricted parking fine of seventy-five and no/100 dollars ($75.00).

Every lot owner is empowered to report any violation directly. Therefore, aside from drive-throughs whenever by code enforcement officials, you may report violations to the following City of Olympia officials as follows:
 
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
